About Scheuermann’s Disease

Scheuermann’s Disease is a condition where the midback has too much of a curve, giving someone the appearance of slouching unnaturally.  It is usually caused by anterior wedging of the vertebrae, increasing the normal kyphosis of the thoracic spine.  One of the biggest concerns of people with this condition can be their appearance.

Rhino Scoliosis Center has a long history of success with Scheuermann’s (pronounced “Sherman’s) Disease, improving not only the amount of curve seen on a lateral thoracic x-ray, but also the posture and appearance.  You can see two of our Scheuermann successes on the Before and After page of this website, under “Our Patients.”
